Cows milk abroad

we have just come back from spain and finley would not drink the milk out there it taste a lot creamer than ours.

It is a different taste I agree, it took me a year before I could drink the UHT stuff. As Maita says you can get fresh non UHT milk in Spain but I would advice against it because the fridges they keep it in are not that cold and by the time you get it home (especially in summer) you are lucky if it will last a day.

My friends with babies that have been out to visit have all used the UHT milk out here and got on fine with it, the only other thing I have to offer by way of opinion is that my doctor (we don't have HV's out here) has told me to still keep feeding Joseph formula - going back for our 15 month check up in a fortnight, although that may be because of him suffering badly from reflux as a small baby more than anything else.

Freddie had Cows milk in France and Italy around the age of one + and its fine. The milk he had in france was as fresh as you could get it was fantastic. Cows are cows ) it would probably do them some good to have different bacteria everyonce in a while.
