You could always make little sandwiches with pink fillings (pink salmon) and use cutters to make them into crown shapes etc. I'm sure Victoria9Bunny will have lots more ideas as she did this for India's 1st party xx

I had a pink theme for my wedding too, how sad is that? but when guests arrived they were served kia royale to match the bridesmaid dresses and then after that it was pink champagne all the way !

It was very much a princess theme we did for India's party as Abbie said, I have some fantastic tiara shaped cookie cutters which I used to make sandwiches, etc and I have some fabulous princess bunting as well if you want to borrow any of it. I stole most of my ideas from the AK party planner for food but instead of the orange jelly sailing boats you could make raspberry jelly ones, these look fab and you can of course do little pink cakes. I'll rack my mind and see what I can come up with for you. Argos do some great pink cake stands, perfect for little fairy cakes and fondant fancies and they are really quite cheap when compared with gltc, etc. I also had little princess party bags made and pirate ones for the boys. The princess ones were pink with little tiaras on the front, I have the email address for the girl who made them so let me know if you are interested.

Anyhow I'll think of some pink ideas and get back to you.

Fab idea, I love it xxx

You could have open sandwiches cut into hearts or crowns (like isabellasmum said) ham or prawns as a savoury filling and strawberry jam as sweet. Rice salad or potato with beetroot in so it turns pink. Strawberries dipped in pink chocolate.

Hope you find lots of yummy things!

xxxxxx

I just did a search for you on pink party food and I've posted a link for you below, it may not fit with your high tea idea but there may be some ideas for dips, etc you could steal

http://www.ivillage.co.uk/food/party...599030,00.html

My pink ideas so far are:

Pink fairy cakes (add pink food colouring to your cake mixture so the icing and the cakes are pink)
Pink Fondant Fancies
Open sandwiches - with either raspberry jam or salmon (pm me if you want to borrow some tiara shaped cookie cutters)
Raspberry jelly boats
The AK watermelon pig - the fleshy bits are pink and the pig looks great
Someone has already said mini sausages are pinkish so you could have a sausage hedgehog
Lots of fruit - raspberries, red grapes which tend to look a bit pink when peeled
Pink drinks ... kia royale, pink champagne, add cranberry juice to other drinks to turn them pink. Sabai is really nice too, it also looks pinkish in a glass - I discovered this last year and it's really nice and refreshing and a change to the usual rose wine.
Raspberry mouse or rhubarb mouse - you could add pink macaroon biscuits to make it more of a dessert

Ok, I'm getting carried away now and more on a pink theme than a princess theme. Will think of more children friendly ideas

Had a few more thoughts, sorry to be going off on one !!

pink potato salad (add a bit of beetroot to add the pink colour)
Pink lemonade (I had some of this at India's party and it's so refreshing)
Pink Angel delight (if you can still get it)
Pink party ring biscuits (yummy)
Pink marshmallows
Pink lady apples (with the skin on)
Pink Jelly Beans
The pink bits of battenberg cake (perfect little cube size for los)
You could make shortbread and add pink food colouring
Strawberry milkshake (again a pinkish drink)
Pink icecream
Taramalaslata with cucumber or carrot sticks to dip in
Pink chocolate crispie cakes (really quick and easy to make)
Pink egg mayo sandwiches - I'm sure if you add food colouring to them they would turn pink

I'm stuck for ideas now, will think some more
