Scones?

Ok that's it I'm giving up on baking Just made scones and they didn't rise!! They do taste very nice & have just eaten 2 for lunch though! Hiann it was your recipe but made with plain flour & baking powder. Probably would need at least double the baking powder! Sadly I think that's it for me & baking. Thanks for your help everyone! xo

i am so hopeless at baking. My grandad was a baker and he made lovely cakes. I remember going to visit on a Sunday and the smell of scones coming from the kitchen before we even got in the house was yummy!! I definitely didnt inherit the baking gene lol
