Welcome to the site!

How old is your baby and how long have you been offering them food?

You could try a slightly sweeter puree, maybe pear or apple. You could also try mixing a bit of the puree with sme of the baby rice too. I wouldn't start mixing flavours until you have introduced each one individually as you need to keep an eye out for any allergic reactions when first introducing a food. Once you know your baby has no reactions you can mix allsorts of fruit and veg together.

You've just got to keep perservering and your baby will get the hang of eating eventually!

Welcome again!

I'd say if your baby is under six months to hold off until then unless you feel that they really need it.

If your baby is six months then go down the finger food route as it might be the spoon/texture they don't like.

the advice from health officials is that you should wait til 6 months but my lo was 5 months and milk just wasnt enough for her. as ellie said you need to introduce food gradually to see if there is any allergic reactions. you could try some mashed banana. i used to mash a little pureed fruit or veg with a small drop of milk so the taste of milk comes through the food. i think sometimes its the texture they dont like cos they are so used to sucking. if you make the food really smooth and runny then your LO will suck from the spoon at first rather than trying to eat it. Welcome to AK.

I would just try a different fruit or veg. If your LO doesn't like carrot, there's bound to be something else that will tempt!
