Toast should be fine, as should sticks of any veggie!
You could also try making your usual veg cut up into cubes then he could pick up and munch on his own, cept it goes mooshy quite quickly in mouth iykwim |

Their little gums are rock solid and can munch and chew their way through pretty much anything so I would just go with your instincts. Toast and bread and butter are great first finger foods, bananas, cucumber sticks (still can't get Finlay to eat these mind you
) Organix ranges of snacks are good like the crisps and fruit bars, all suitable from 7 months. I also used to give Finlay dry cereal as a snack, like dry cheerios, cos they go soggy once in the mouth so no fear of choking. Hope he gets on well xxxxxxx |

Evie used to just have whatever I was having so usually toast/bread/porridge/banana for breakie
toast/bread with a pate i.e. mushed veggies or beans, or sticks of cheese and lightly cooked carrot Whatever we were having for dinner she managed to pick at, I just avoided mushy things like shepherds/fish pie etc or would at least spoonfeed her that while she munched on the bread or extra veggies etc. |
