Default Snack ideas

What should I give Rhys as finger foods/ snacks during the day? I was giving him toast but he's got a rash at the minute so I'm avoiding wheat until it clears up and then will rechallenge him with wheat to see if that wa sthe cause.

Do you mean dried apple rings or fresh?

I'll try banan again: last time he found it too slippy! As for the cheese, great idea but I forgot to say we are avoiding dairy too at present!

You can give banana with some of the peel still on.... i cut a piece off and take off part of the skin and snip the dangly bits! My lo can then hold the skin bit and munch away at the top.... works great

Mini rice cakes - Zane has had these since he was about 8 months and still loves them.
Cow and gate and boots do good plain organic ones.
Heinz do yummy organic honey or apple ones, but think these are for over 12 months.

Sticks of cucumber,
Raisins
Dried pear
Dried Apricots - although Zane hates these!!
Baby bels....yum!
Raw yellow or red pepper

Hope that helps?

Zoe and Zane x
