Default Fish ideas

Hi,

For a while my LO will only eat fish (fishcakes or fishfingers - all homemade) as well as potatoes, veg etc. I am getting worried that she's not getting the vitamins that she needs from red meat, poultry etc but figure that fish is better than eating nothing and so vary the type of fish I use as much as possible.

I just wondered if anyone has any recipe ideas for fish, but just to make it even more difficult, she only eats finger foods and won't touch anything from a spoon!!!!

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. Thanks xxx

Hi, my lo eats everything with her fingers even things like fish pie, she also loves tuna and pasta. I give her fish (any kind) on a plate with grapes, cucumber, avocado, cherry tomatoes etc and she absolutely loves the tins of sardines and mackerel in tomato sauce (salt in them I know but she didn't have them til just over 1 and in moderation) with 'salad' or in a toastie. Her fave toastie is tuna and cheese. Hope these help xxx

How about flaking a salmon steak into some pasta with vegetable and maybe some cheese. Or some chunky fish in cubes with mixed peppers. Tuna pizza made using wholemeal pitta bread.
