Default Freezing Broccoli Trio

Hi everyone,

Quick question we're weaning our daughter at the moment. She's onto the 3rd week of weaning now, we're so proud.
We have a quick question about the Broccoli trio, in Annabels book there isn't a free able sign by it, but we can't understand why we can't freeze. Has anyone had a similar experience? Lor does anyone know why it can't be frozen?

Please help otherwise we'll be making loads of it!

Thanks all!

Most of the initial veg purees aren't marked as being freezeable but it doesn't mean they can't be frozen. In fact there is very little you can't freeze when it comes to fruit and veg purees. There should be no problem with the broccoli trio.

Personally I never made up the mixed purees but froze individual purees and then mixed at serving time. That way I was never stuck with a batch of something my LO didn't like and I had a lot more flexibility in what I could serve. I froze everything in icecube trays, transferred to freezer bags once frozen and then took out cubes as needed. So by freezing broccoli, sweet potato and cauliflower seperately I could easily makeup the trio mix but could also just use one or two of the three if that's what I chose.
