Question Raw egg / cake mix

Hi Ladies
My daughter (20 months) and I enjoyed our first 'proper' baking session yesterday, baking a birthday cake for Daddy... I remember loving licking the spoon when I helped my Mam baking cakes.... bearing in mind raw egg being an ingredient, how old would Hannah need to be before enjoying this nice part of the 'cleaning' process??

As far as I understand it the main rpoblem with raw eggs is samonella, but eggs with the lion mark on them should be fine so if you are using them I'd let her lick away. My DS has been licking the mixer since we first started baking.

pretty sure, eggs bought from a supermarket will have been checked for salmonella, so these are fine to allow to "lick the spoon". probably wouldn't be advisable though from eggs that you've bought straight from a farm or farmers market as they may not have been screened.
