Default Cooking Tofu?

Hi there,

I'm a newbie to the site..so hope this hasn't been asked before.

Tofu? How do you cook it? I'm hoping to add it to apple and apricot but not sure how to cook the tofu side of things..

Thanks!

Default Cooking tofu

Hi there,
A newbie here too. There's no need to cook tofu at all. For mixing with purees just add it in straight from the fridge. If you have some left over for yourself...
I usually buy the firm type tofu and if I'm having it myself, I marinate it in cubes first in a little soy sauce, grated or juiced ginger and sesame oil and then oven bake or grill it until it browns up nicely. It's delicious added to stir fry and noodles.
