Default Breast Milk in Purees?

I just got a copy of "The Healthy Baby Meal Planner" in anticipation of starting my daughter on fruits and veggies. The recipes all indicate to use cooking water to thin the puree as needed, but I was considering using pumped breast milk in place of water, so that Maya continues getting the extra nutrients. Would the flavors still be ok? Is it preferable to use water when weaning? Thanks!!

I found that very few if any purees needed water added to thin them down, and if they did the amount used was minimal. Not sure if it would be worth using bm for that reason alone. As long as your LO is still getting all her milk feeds she'll won't need anything extra from the food. At the beginning it's all about getting them used to texture and taste and the milk they have remains the most important source of nutrients anyway.
