HELP! Made a curry too sweet - how can I savoury it up a bit?
Hi all.
I'm making a fruity lamb curry which is supposed to be quite sweet as has prunes, apple, carrot and mango chutney in it, but I was a bit free and loose with my measuring and it has gotten a bit too sweet. Any suggestions on how I can savoury it up a bit?
Also, can you add more curry paste to it to make more spicy - or can it only be added at the beginning? What else could I add? I only have mild chili powder and mild curry powder so neither are really doing much. Again, any suggestions welcomed!
I'm batch cooking so some can go in the freezer for Tilly, but OH and I plan to eat some just for us tomorrow night.
