Default Heating frozen purees

Hi

We have started weaning this week and it is a huge success, my son loves his food!

I was just wondering if I must warm through fruit and veg purees if they have been frozen or if they are ok to give just defrosted? I'm just thinking for those times when I am out and about. Do I need to heat them through to kill of anything nasty?

Thanks in advance
Katie and baby Austin

I never bothered heating friut and veg purees - just left them to defrost overnight in the fridge and used them ike that. If I felt they were too cold coming from the fridge I'd warm them up a little. You really need to worry about reheating thoroughly once you are using meat and fish
