Hi,
I am new to this site and weaning. My son is 21 weeks on Saturday and I started weaning him about 1 and half weeks ago now as he no longer was sleeping through the night. For the past week and a half I have just been giving him some baby rice at night. However I upped the quantity to two teaspoons yesterday and he destroyed it all. Today I was thinking of giving him a little at lunch time with a little mashed banana as well as a little at tea time. What do you think?? Am I doing everything right so far? The HV said to let him lead us as he is still young and to do things slowly. I also wanted to know how long you can keep fruit and veg purees in the freezer for as I was thinking of trying to be organised and doing some now and putting them in the freezer until needed. I just wondered if I was taking things too slowly or am I doing thinks ok?? It is a minefield!!!! Thank you in advance Carley |
