Won't Take To A Beaker - Any Ideas?

Hi........

Does anyone have any ideas/tips for helping my 7month old make the transfer from bottle to beaker? He currently has TT closer to nature bottles and when I offer a beaker he screams and cries

I have tried putting his milk in his beaker and he just wont take to it.

I have two older children who never had this problem as they never had bottles as they went straight from me to beaker without any problems.

I have bought the TT Closer to nature training beaker which is advertised as supposed to be "an inbetween bottle/beaker" combination, but its no good.

Have been trying for 6 weeks now, I place it next to us when he has his solids so he can see it and knows it is linked with mealtimes, but he just pushes it on to the floor so he cant see it!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Can take a good while for them to get used to a beaker, leave it laying around so he can "play" with it, hes still young.. he will get it eventually

I agree with RM, don't stress too much he will take it when he is ready xx

Still early days so dont worry as above!!!!

I tried heaps of types of beakers with Rhys: found the soft spout ones were awful! Using a Doidy cup and a TT regular sippy beaker for Cara at the mo!
