I cook a lot of stuff from scratch but if meat is on offer then I would cook up double or tripple portions and freeze stuff. I would tend to mostly end up freezing things like bolognese sauce, lasagne, shepards or cottage pie and stews.

I batch cook

Chilli / Spag bol sauce
Lasagne
Cottage / Shepherds pie
AK's hidden veg pasta sauce
Curries
Fish pie
AK's veggie burgers
JO's burgers
Chicken nuggets although i've stopped doing these as Oliver won't eat them
Soups
Stews
Dal
Pancakes
Rice pudding

That is all i can think of for now. Batch cooking is great for when you know you are going to have a really busy day or out for the day and not much time to cook before lo's bed time. I have pulled a barley dal out of the freezer for Oliver tonight as I am going out for dinner with a friend. x

I batch cook so that if I'm out for the afternoon I can get something out of the freezer before I go out and just heat it up when I get back. I also cook double quantities of stuff like lasagne, sausage casserole, stew.
Things I batch cook include:
AK's yummy burgers
Tuna fishcakes
Spag bol
Chilli con carne
AK's chicken sliders
salmon fishcakes

I batch cook most stuff (mostly same stuff as Iwan), also things like gravy, yorkshire puddings, pizza dough I make extra and freeze so I can be quick/lazy another day.

I find it works out lots cheaper.

I cook everything from fresh on the day so dont really batch cook. Although saying that, if we do a spag bol there is always left overs so we turn that into a chilli and either freeze it for another time or eat it the next day. Thats about the only thing though. We have only got a tiny freezer now though so I suppose if we had more room I would freeze more.
