Default Freeziing beans

Just wondering if anyone ever froze Heinz baked beans. I can't get the low salt low sugar ones in Switzerland so I order them ever now and again from England or bring them over from home. As I can only manage to get a few tins at a time I'd like to stretch them out to last Freddie as long as possible. As I'd get about 4 portions out of each tin I thought I'd freeze three of them once I open the tin. The only other options are to feed him beans non stop till I finish what's in the tin or eat them myself and I'd rather not do either as I've gone to the extra effort and expense of getting them specially for him. Any thoughts ?

I've never frozen them but can totally relate to the bringing things back from england then not wanting to 'waste' them!! I don't see why you couldn't freeze them.

They freeze ok in recipe's I've made so should think they'll be fine hun, may just be a little softer when defrosted.
