Default Lambs liver?

Ive got one of the Annabel Karmel books, and in the recipe (for second stage weaning), it says to use calvess or chicken livers. I can't get either of these in the small quantities the recipe asks for, so I was wondering if lambs liver would be ok instead?

Hiya, welcome to AK.

I have used lambs liver in the AK recipes, my Lo used to love it when he was younger, although I used to blend it to be more like a gravy over his mash and veg incase he turned it down due to the texture. I might do him liver again actually, see if he'll eat it now, be good for him! x

Hiya,
Thanks for replying, I think i'll give it a go tomorrow, and see what my little boy makes of it! Hes doing really well so far - had lots of different fruits and vegetables, and has tried chicken and fish, so im hoping he will enjoy the liver too

My LO loves it even though I must admit I'm not a huge fan myself. I'm sure your LO will love it too.
