Izzy has squash, no added sugar and v dilute, i am trying to restrict squash to with meals and water at other times but not easy, weird thing is don't know how she found out about squash just all of a sudden one day she wouldn't drink water and wanted juice as she calls it...

She does get the odd sweet or choclate normally on hair wash nights...

I let her have biscuits (malted milk) one on a day but she doesn't have them every day.

Recently she has started asking for "crispies", since being to a couple of 3rd birthday parties, she is occasionally allowed a few hula hoops at the weekend with her lunch or a few plain crisps.

I try not to stress too much as she loves vegetables and will happily eat raw carrot/ pepper/ cucumber as a snack or an apple or banana or satsuma, and as long as she eats all her meals i tend not to worry too much.

Isabella only gets water or milk to drink, she might get an Innocent smoothie very occasionally (like less than once a month)

Foodwise we don't really do snacks, don't buy biscuits (or I'd eat them and be size of a house) don't buy crisps (ditto). She gets an egg custard as a treat about once a week in butchers otherwise just gets fruit/yoghurt after meals. Occasionally she'll have a little box of raisins or some custard.

MIL spoils her rotten, buys her sweets (fruitellas) and icecream (cornettos) so she'll get half a pack of sweets both days she sees her plus usually an icecream one of the days which Isabella loves.

I do let her have biscuits at other peoples house or if I bake them but never buy them so it isn't an issue at home. MIL did buy her squash today, I have asked her to stick to water though as she likes it so much, she has also occasionally given her crisps but again I prefer her not to give them.

Just made Charlie some of the pineapple and raisin muffins from the Annabel Karmel book. Although they obviously contain fat and sugar they are a healthy (ish) snack as they contain carrot, pineapple, raisins and wholemeal flour.

Molly & Rosie are chocoholics - probably my fault as I love it too and always have some in the house! They would quite happily eat chocolate, cakes, biscuits etc all day long if I let them (which I don't!).
A while back I did have to make a conscious effort to cut back on sweet treats as they were getting them every day but now it's just a couple of times a week and even then it's usually only a small piece of chocolate or cookie. We made choc chip cupcakes today which are so tasty and they've both had one of those.
More often than not if they have a snack it's raisins/other dried fruit or fresh fruit and they're quite happy with that. They'll sometimes have a beaker of squash during the day but they usually just have water x

Until Christmas i was quite strict on sweets etc but at pre-school he was being given sweets/chocolate every blimmin day on that Christmas week. Most of the time I managed to get them off him and said he could have them after lunch then he'd forget and I threw the sweets in the bin, Haribo's which are the worst for him!!. Still trying to be good like that but like RM and Acad, sometimes I just want a quiet life and can do without yet another tantrum I don't like him having sweets cos they send him mental, so things for a "sweet" treat he has the yoghurt covered fruit flakes, he even calls them sweets and the only actual sweet treat he would get is something like smarties (which he asks for constantly) or buttons but that's really only if I have to and not very often. He's bad with biscuits (as are we ) but I've just asked his pre school to limit how many he has cos he was eating loads there!! he might get a chocolate biscuit as a treat but again it's very rare and usually by Hubby!!

On the whole I try to avoid it and he's really good at asking for fruit/cereal bars/rice cakes/fruit bars/fruit flakes/raisins as his "treats" and we have the fruit where he can help himself which he does quite often, so on the whole we're quite good here

Oh and drinks he has gallons of water and milk every day and has 1 smoothie probably every other day with his lunch xx

Harry doesn't like squash, only drinks water, pure apple juice, milk an has a innocent smoothie a day because he's not very good at eating fruit, will only really eat grapes!

I don't give him any sweets an thankfully he doesn't like them anyway so doesn't ask for them. He likes chocolate but I will only let him have small amounts (fun size) or a couple of squares an has it as a treat prob 2-3 times a week.

Other snacks he has are raisins, fruit pouches, fruit ceral bars, breadsticks, grapes, crisps. xx

Leah would have sweets everyday if she had the chance!! In fact told me today that sweets were very good for you and did not make you teeth go bad!

She will get a packet of sweets/chocolate bar as a treat at the minute it is once a week as a reward for after her SALT session. Or if she has been to a party or school have given out sweets at holiday time etc (did complain to school bout this though as did not think necessary)

She will get a biscuit at home or a bun/cake if I have been baking. But I do try to keep these to her mealtimes as her pudding if she eats all her dinner.

She is such a lil starvo I find it hard to keep up with her she is always hungry and eats huge amounts!! So keeping snacks healthy is hard. She eats somuch fruit I have to limit her as she ends up with really runny poo's and a sore bum. Yesterday her fruit consumption was
2 pears
Grapes and blueberries
Banana
Peaches
I find myself offering her a biscuit or crisps instead when she asks for fruit as she has too much sometimes!!!

Drink wise we try to keep to milk and water or at breakfast time she gets either pure apple or orange juice diluted down with water. As a treat esp on cold days when we come in from a walk she gets a hot chocolate.
I do keep a bottle of diluting juice in the cupboard for when friends come and she will get some then.

She does get a lot more than I would like but it is very hard now when she knows what all these things are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
