Got this a wee while ago and love it. The chocolate brownies are delish!! The lemon cupcakes are good but must admit was disappointed in the chocolate cupcakes. The vanilla ones are good too.

I got the primrose bakery book - not tried much out of it yet.

Really must get into cooking and baking again, have got far too lazy these past few months and spend way too much time on here and FB!! Central heating not helping either, it's making me feel so sleepy and tired all the time, so all I want to do is sit down on the computer!........roll on summer!

Aw I love this book!

I got it at the GFS for £5!!!

Have done the vanilla cupcakes and the red velvet ones. though I put a little bit too much cocoa in the mixture and they werent as red as they should have been, found it really hard to measure out 10g!!

I plan to work my way through this books until this baby comes then no more!!!!

They are way too tasty!!! and fattening!

I picked this up from library today, made vanilla cupcakes and they were dreadful.

I defo did something wrong but not sure what. When I put half the milk in the mixer and put it on low it went straight into a dough like consistency then I just couldn't get it smooth Needless to say they didn't rise and tasted cack.

my first attempt at these was bad too but i persevered and my friend and her brother told me the other day they were the best cupcakes they had ever had.

however what i do now is do the butter, flour, sugar etc to make the sand like cosistency and then put in all the wet ingredients in in one go (egg and milk) and it seems to work well.
