Default Croquette recipes???

Hi,

At last (after 2, possibly 3 months) Molly has eaten something other than fish!!! Hooray for minced beef & potato croquettes!!!

Just wondered as we may be on a role, does anyone have any recipes for any other kind of croquettes? I think Molly ate them because the meat was mixed with potato and therefore made the taste less intense, so, I am thinking what else can I mix with potato, cover in breadcrumbs and cook!!!!!

Any ideas appreciated xxxxx

P.S. She already eats loads of different veggies so meaty recipes would be great

The croquettes I made are cooked minced beef, onion & mashed potato mixed together into a small 'sausage like' shape then dipped in flour, egg and coated in breadcrumbs before frying. Not sure what a pattie is!!??

Oops-ladybug will shoot my spelling-patty-like hamburgers but can be smaller and fatter. Same idea give or take.

Try making the ones you made and adding drained frozen chopped spinach.

You can also use chopped chicken or turkey meat (mince?) instead of beef. With the chicken one I would mix it with cooked mashed potatoes and carrots maybe.

Tam where are you? Need your recipes girl-no excuse being preggers and tired and under the weather-get cooking girl! Hey Alexander's mummy youa re good at this too.

Thanks Susie, I like the sound of the chicken, carrot & potato ones - I'll give them a try.

xx
