Default What is the difference?

Should I be giving Billy SMA Progress instead of Gold?

I don't know what the difference is!

I used Gold for Alex's main milk and the progress milk as an afternoon drink just before he turned 1 and went onto cows milk.

My LO is 9 months I use SMA gold not progress. One HV said use progress another said there was no need as long as he drinks his milk and eats well (ie foods with iron). My LO was managing well on SMA gold so I thought just leave well alone. Its a personal choice.

Hi,

My HV suggested we try Progress when Molly started refusing her milk feeds. Apparently it is a drink rather than a meal (like Gold is) and is therefore better for babies that are weaning as it does not fill them up.

From the very first time we tried it Molly drank better, mind you she has now decided she only wants 1 milk feed per day, just in the morning!

Hope that helps xx
