Hi and welcome to the site.
I have a similar problem in that Molly will sometimes eat loads of fruit and other times she won't touch it, most of the time I resort to giving her a fruit puree for her pudding at dinnertime just to make sure she's had enough!! Have you tried: Banana & custard, either with mashed or sliced banana (either way it's pretty hidden) AK's 'my favourite porridge' as it's made with apricots & pears Ready brek with mashed banana Banana sandwiches Fruit smoothies Milkshakes That's all I can think of for now, I do all of them and Molly will eat them no problem (usually!!). Good luck and welcome once again xxxx |

Evie spits grapes out after she has chewed, but it's mainly cos she wants rid of the skins - most of the grape itself is eaten. She still eats them like this but I don't find it a problem really - not so polite eating habits but she enjoys them so...
Have you tried a vast range of fruits? There are so many different ones out there; different flavours, different textures. You're bound to find at least a couple she likes. Try different berries - these can be popular. Evie likes red berries in particular for some inexplicable reason. It seems odd she wants to feed herself unless it is fruit... Perhaps it's because she got pureed fruit from being weaned... In which case, you could try new fruits and see if she'll go for the new flavours in their unmushed form. |

Hi
Jack can be quite fussy with fruit and one day loves bananas and grapes and the next refuse them. He does seem to eat most fruit if pureed and mixed with custard or yogurt but would never eat raw apple or pear, but will if made as previous. Also smoothies are popular and a good way of getting fruit into him. Best of luck |

Also - MAKE SURE the fruit is just right for eating. Katie never eats fruit if it isn't spot on so underripe or overripe gets ditched xxx Also, make sure you and hubby eat lots of fruit in front of them, even if you don't normally like it
xxxOh - first thing in the morning I give Katie her fruit before anything else, while she's really hungry xxx HTH |
