Default might mac and cheese

am gutted. I made my own little fussy eater AK's Mighty mac and cheese from her fussy eaters cookbook - and she refused to eat it. had one mouthful then pushed it away and said 'no'
had taken me an hour to make from scratch and was so hoping she'd like it. I now have three other portions of it in the freezer that are totally redundant.
ended up giving her cheese and crackers instead - which took about 30 seconds to put together. am seriously considering giving up cooking !

Oh hun, dont lose heart, Thomas is exactly the same if thats any consolation to you!
One min he can like something, the next he wont touch it with a ten foot barge pole, so fickle are these children of ours!!

I would suggest keeping the mac and cheese in the freezer, and then trying again with it in a few weeks, she might like it when she's going through a good patch. Def dont throw it away!!

I was thinking of giving that recp a go as it looks lovely but Thomas can be very hit and miss at times, for a few days he loved the chick and cous cous, so made loads of it, nw he wont touch it... grrrrrr!!!
But I'll keep trying!
xx

Isabella refused to eat Tam's apricot chicken and I'd double batch baked it. Had about eight portions in freezer gahhh.

I kept offering it with wedges and roasted veg as well and the monkey scoffed the last two portions and kept saying yummyyummyyummy. The previous six had gone in the bin refused.

They are so fickle but don't give up Claire xxxx

OH the joys of parenthood!!! Molly is exactly the same, one day she'll love something the next she won't even attempt to eat it!!! I do tend to cook in batches too and when she goes off something I leave it in the freezer for a while and try again - sometimes she'll eat it, sometimes she still won't!

I too keep wondering if it's even worth spending so much time cooking things from scratch when most of the time they are wasted but I keep telling myself that eventually her fussy ways may pass and it will all have been worth it!

Although it's frustrating for us all, at least we know we are not alone xxxxxxxxxx

thanks guys - was p'd off last night but fine now. Will keep in freezer for another time. And I'm with susie, but that's the problem - I keep eating Tilly's meals - as well as my own - hee hee. At least I like my own cooking!

Thought the mac and cheese was full proof - as she will eat pasta and currently LOVES cheese! Oh well - maybe next time!

Thank for all the support - v. sweet of you all. Just needed to vent last night!

cheers!
we put Tilly's tent up in the house on Saturday and she loves it - had to give her lunch in it yesterday as was only way I could get her to eat anything - was fun though - sat in it with her eating sausage sandwiches - felt like a kid again myself!
