Default Quick meal but not pasta

My little boy is 17 months and is not in general a fussy eater, however he won't eat cheese or pasta, which seem to be the main ingredients of a lot of recipes for this age. Can anyone recommend a quick meal that doesn't contain either of these (or hides them well enough that he doesn't know)?

or if you mean really quick, do you give him fish fingers? or sausages? beans on toast? eggy bread? what do you give him normally/ how quick does it need to be?

I have done the risotto and he loved it, that's the sort of thing I'm after really. An alternative to throwing something in a pan with a load of pasta. He does eat fish fingers, beans on toast, sausages but these tend to be more for tea than dinner

do you cook stuff in advance and freeze, then defrost and reheat - as that makes it quick at the time you need it. AK's lamb and prunes is a good one - I serve it with rice.
or I have posted a yummy toddler friendly beef chili con carne with loads of veg - also nice with rice or potato.
