Default sweet tooth

Hello

Hoping someone can offer me some advise... My DS is coming up to 7 months and we started weaning about 6 weeks ago. Initially he was fine and seemed to love all the root vegetable and fruit purees I was making him. Now all of a sudden, he will only open his mouth to pear puree and some times to other sweet tasting things. He used to eat 2 or 3, 35 mls pots for both lunch and dinner and now won't even finish 1 pot. Please... does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks!

Sounds like teething. Would not worry too much, just continue to try to introduce things and do not stress too much. This happens for a few days/weeks every few months...

Here are some old posts that may help:

I agree with last post... also, try to mix things with what your LO likes - namely Pear Puree - so maybe mix parsnip and pear as goes well together believe it or not.

Does your LO like apple puree? If so, then mix with carrot, etc. if not, maybe change the sort of apple. Tilly hated braeburn and cox apples but loved pink lady or royal gala.

and don't worry as all these phases pass soon, and the main diet at that age is still milk.

keep smiling
xx
