Default If first tastes not accepted!!

Hello

I have spent the last week trying to offer my six month old solids. I have offered her the foods as reccomended in the first tastes planner and she has not accepted any of them. Should i repeat the week or move on?

Not sure.

I had the same problem. I carried on following the first tastes for two weeks and she wouldn't eat anything at all.

She would eat any finger foods though so I just gave her those instead. HV told me that waiting till 6 months means they are developmentally capable of chewing (even if they have no teeth!) so don't need puree anyway.

Your lo might be different but mine just didn't like spoonfeeding.
