Just grumbling really. It's blimmin sore. I've been able to sort it by myself a few times recently, but am getting pretty tired of it now. Poo. Soooore boob, sore feeds and fits of the shivers and the sweats.

cheers He's still taking about 3 daytime feeds which is way more than Katie had, but then I was back at work by now last time. My mum is a pain in the ass re bfing atm, saying things like: are you sure he;s getting enough? ... he doesn't seem interested... would be a good idea to get him on a wee bottle, give you a wee break (wtf how would that give me a break, making up effing bottles when I've never done it before??)

Had an argument with MIL the other day too I was telling her that I'm not reducing feeds at all in preparation for work, I'll just express when I feel full and give him that the next day. She said that was a nonsense and that after 6 months there is no nutritional benefits to breastfeeding (or ff, btw, effing nutter), and that I should just give him cow's milk just now and reduce the feeds so I don't need to express at work. She said she saw it on GMTV about six months ago. When I said, actually no I do know quite a bit, have read up on it etc, she said that's like saying I've read it in the papers so it must be true. I threw that one back straight away with oh it was on GM fu cking TV so it must be true. Lead balloon. I wish she wouldn't wind me up like that - makes my blood boil. Wish the grannies of this world would just let us be, I really do. What makes them the f ucking experts? GRrrr. Sorry. Thought I'd gotten over that rant from Saturday. Apparently not

aw bless you hun! So sore and so much stress. You know you're doing the right thing with the 'breasticle' (love it!) feeding. ignore the oldies and do your own thing. always on the end of the phone if you need a chat hun. xxx
