Do they give you results? Here they only call you if there is something wrong. Always go every year. Definately an important reminder!

at my gp surgery they let you know by letter either way advising you of the results and when you should go again - i.e 3 years etc . it takes around 6 wks to come through.

Recommendation here is once a year with your annual physical. Too bad we don't get a letter though. Would be nice to know one way or another.

Bumpity bump ....

My update is I got the all clear, no abnormal cells, thank god.
The nurse said my cervix looked healthy on the day. Might be worth asking on the day so you'll have some idea of how it went. D x

I had mine yesterday too, have to go every six months, dread it but it's over so quick.

My Mum works in a Drs surgery and she has been shocked at how many women wont have smear tests!

I'm due mine but have to wait till baby is 3 months xx
