Scared End of diet race - Week One

Was wondering how everyone found it?

I've been fine and eaten a bit of everything I fancied but in moderation. Have cut out so much crap I eat that I had out of habit and surprised I didn't miss it. Mostly stuff I used to graze on in the afternoons and later in the evenings out of boredom.

Am feeling so much better in myself - this time last week I was bloated and sluggish. Jeans feel looser too which is a plus.

I'm only going to update my ticker weekly as weightloss/gain varies day to day so makes sense for me to do it once a week on the same day iykwim. Will see how the land lies in the morning

I have been feeling much better myself. I have cut out extra eating and really haven't missed much at all. Allowed a few treats this weekend because I had been so good this week, but shared them with hubby and the kids (except for the Iced Capp I just had for myself, but drank it during a 2 hour walk, so feel like I deserved it). This morning still weighed the same as on Friday, so I figure I have done pretty good!

Hope everyone else is doing well too!

I have been making sure I eat a good breakfast - had boiled eggs for three out of the seven mornings so far and have been concioius about not overdoing the butter on my toast etc.

I have cut down on my portion sizes a bit as used to eat the same as my OH who is over a foot taller than me.

I used to have a glass of wine or two with a meal each evening, but have stopped this for at least three of the seven nights, and only had one small glass on the days I do.

I bought raw almonds and some clementines and some natural yoghurt so have been having more healthy daytime snacks.

I have cut down on buying lattes (so saving money too) - only had three this whole week.

I haven't yet managed to stop the after dinner pudding habit, but am going to try to do this next week.

I think that I am now more conscious of what I put in my mouth and thinking first, do I need it? or when cooking thinking, how can I make this lower in fat, etc. And OH has liked all the low fat meals so far too.

xx

I was good for a few days and stunk for the rest/\. Been exhausted with Noa running a 104 and being clingy and when I am tired I eat. Bad susie. Although all in all, did not do too badly.

Started OK but finished really badly. Resulting in just 1lb lost when I was down 3lb earlier in the week. Hopefully this week should be better as I am playing squash at least twice and gym once. Also hubby is working all weekend so less temptation when he's not about. All in all very disappointed in myself!

I'm doing quite well - it is just reminding me to be sensible about things really. Actually put on weight tho because am about to come on my period. But on the upside, I usually put on almost half a stone around that time, so the fact I only put on a couple of lbs means I'm actually fairly chuffed

Forgot to also say that I think if I'd taken measurements I would see a fair difference, on my waist especially. Not so much the abdomen right now tho
