I am almost afraid to say this for fear of being lynched
But somehow since Monday, I have lost 4 lbs! I have been at a stable weight for about 3-4 months, even through summer when I tend to indulge more. Last week, a couple of days before Sephie's Mum put up the challenge, I put my mind to focussing on losing weight again. I did some extra exercise last week (mainly weights) and other than fluctuating down a pound, I gained the pound back by indulging this weekend.
So, all I have been doing is eating responsibly (cutting out unhealthy and unnecessary snacks and watching my portions), 4 lbs seems an awful lot right out of the gate. Is it just that I have been building up more muscle? Seems awfully weird. Although, when I lost my previous 10 lbs, it happened in a similar manner, only I had a couple of weeks when I was doing a lot more exercise than normal. I figured it jump started my metabolism and I got lucky. I am very pleased with myself though.
I am also afraid to update my ticker for fear that my weight will jump back up when I step on the scale tomorrow morning!
