I'm on the online WW as there was money back on quidco for it and its good as you can work out how many points are in a home cooked meal as there a recipe section where you type in the ingredients and it works it out for you: great as trying to get Rhys to eat what we eat at dinner time! Means you're not stuck to eating meals from their list (as some of their recipes are gross): you can do the recipe point thing by hand but it would take ages!
Didnt go to the real WW meetings as Dh wante dto do the WW with me and so we couldnt both go to the meetings plus I heard they did have a lot of selling you the WW food there at high prices! I have done Rosemary Conley before as if I was going to pay each week for a class, I reckoned at least exercising would make it seem more value of rmoney tahn a bunch of people sitting talking abt food for an hour! But there arent any RC classes in my area anymore. I cant exercise anyway at teh mo (apart from swimming) as still have back issues. So I guess my ideal class would be the exercise from RC but the diet from WW as you can eat what you want rather than the 5% rule in RC classes! |

You basically decide whether you want to have a green day or a red day On a green day most vegetables are classed as free food as is rice, pasta etc and on a red day meat is and most veg except potatoes and a few others. Then each day you also have healthy extras - healthy extra a's are things like milk, cheese etc and healthy extra b's are things like cereal, bread etc. you can have 1 or 2 healthy a's and 2 healthy b's.
Then finally you have a syn allocation each day of between 5-15 syns for things that you love and can't live without - like chocolate!!! ![]() ![]() It is £4.50 per class or you can pay in advance and get 6 weeks for the price of 5 - £22.50, I think they also do 11 weeks for the price of 10. That is really brief and it sounds really complicated the way that I have explained it, but its not honestly and if I can do it anyone can!!!!! Good luck and let us know what you decide. Lisaxxx |

I've never been keen on diet clubs much because they can sometimes sway more towards losing weight rather than eating healthily - last time I saw a Slimming World magazine there was a page on which packet of crisps had the least "syns" with some sort of high-crap filled corn crisps
I'd have thought the body was better off with a bag of unsalted crisps with only potatoes and vegetable oil if anything iykwim? But that'sprobs just me being arrogant - I realise these nutritionist whodevise these plans know a great deal more than lil ole me ![]() I say eat a healthy balanced diet - and if I wanted to "diet" I'd probs just calorie count for cutting down (no more difficult than counting "syns"orWW points from what I can see) maybe seeing the doctor if I needed a kickstart. Good luck with whatever you decide!xx |
