what's going on? Allergies can also cause them, but if you are worried and don't have a cold, get them checked out-though they are probably nothing.
Lymph nodes get swollen when there is crud in the body that the body is fighting and they are cleansed out through the lymph nodes which get swollen the harder they work... |

Thanks everyone for replying.
I had a swollen gland so I have had a blood test to check for glandular fever, however I dont think I have this as I dont have anyother sympton. The doc said if the tests are negative but the gland still up I might have to go to the hospital for a biopsy. I am now terrifed that I hve something really bad wrong with me. The gland has gone down pretty much to nothing but if I stroke my neck I can still feel a slight raised area. |
