this is OH's mum's recipe.
8oz porridge oats 1 tbs golden syrup 6oz stork marg 4oz demerara sugar tin 10" x 6" (roughly) melt marg, syrup, sugar in a saucepan on a low heat, remove from heat and add the oats. grease tin, press down in tin and bake for approx 30mins on no 4-5 i used to follow this but now i just add what i feel like and go by the taste (so good before it gets cooked) i like more syrup in mine ![]() |

Mine are still cooling so haven't tried then yet but this is the recipe - a proper school recipe, lol, just added a few raisins....
