Default Diet Crisis!

Oh no....picked Ruby up from Nursery this pm and they said she'd been really good and eaten all her tea:- chicken soup and bread followed by flapjack.

That was it, it's been on my mind all evening and I have succumbed (sp?) and just made flapjacks! They smell absolutely gorgeous. Totally not good for the diet, although I did use low fat margerine, does that make them healthy???

this is OH's mum's recipe.

8oz porridge oats
1 tbs golden syrup
6oz stork marg
4oz demerara sugar
tin 10" x 6" (roughly)

melt marg, syrup, sugar in a saucepan on a low heat, remove from heat and add the oats.
grease tin, press down in tin and bake for approx 30mins on no 4-5

i used to follow this but now i just add what i feel like and go by the taste (so good before it gets cooked) i like more syrup in mine
