Default Swine Flu - should we be getting the kids the flu jab again?

Anyone up on this? I just read about the young girl in N.I. who died from it this week.

Chris got his jab, and Katie didn't. Should I be arranging for Katie to get the jag? Should Chrissy get another one this year? How does this work?

Vaccine only lasts about a year.

H1N1 is available in the seasonal flu jab but they are only offering it to at risk groups (elderly/physical complications/poultry or care workers)

All flu vaccines are temporary immunity, best immunity is from getting the illness

Trouble is flu strains mutate, so this years swine flu will differ from last years, there is also different classes of the same strain. Some people may have immunity for longer some wont, general guide is flu jabs should be yearlyx

Flu jabs have the lowest rate of immunity from all vaccines, think its about 70% ?? effective.
