1. How often do you prepare a pasta meal for your baby and toddler per week?
2 or 3 times 2. What pasta do you like to use for your child? For my 7 mth old - small pasta shapes. For my 31mth old - penne or fusilli 3. When did you switch over to adult pasta for your toddler? At about 18 mths, once she started pinching it from our plates 4. What is the most important thing for you to have on the front of the packaging? a) How many meals you can make per pack b) Cooking time c) Organic Don't think any of them are that important. No of meals it makes depends on the portion size depending on who I'm feeding Cooking time - judge that myself when cooking, but probably the most usefule as a guideline, particularly with small pasta shapes. Organic - not fussed about that. from wmarsland |

1. How often do you prepare a pasta meal for your baby and toddler per week?
Prob twice a week 2. What pasta do you like to use for your child? Using AK pasta shells and also broken up spaghetti 3. When did you switch over to adult pasta for your toddler? Using it from approx 7 1/2 months broken up in spice grinder bit of food processor which seems to work well. 4. What is the most important thing for you to have on the front of the packaging? a) How many meals you can make per pack b) Cooking time c) Organic None of these actually - the size of the pasta bits were what made me choose the AK pasta. Otherwise, what sauce etc. you put on the pasta is much more important. I don't put a huge premium on organic either as, as far as I was aware, that meant it couldn't be fortified with things like iron, which I think is important for my wee one. |

1. How often do you prepare a pasta meal for your baby and toddler per week?
Once or twice a week 2. What pasta do you like to use for your child? Either Spaghetti which you can cut up v small (or even break it up smaller before cooking) or penne and cut each one into about three pieces once cooked or just leave whole and she could pick these up with her hands. Tend to use fresh pasta. 3. When did you switch over to adult pasta for your toddler? Always used adult pasta from the point i tried her on pasta (which i think was around 7/8 months), at the start used Farfalline from Tesco which were very very small mini pasta bows and Izzy managed with these fine, then progressed to macaronni and then penne or spaghetti. 4. What is the most important thing for you to have on the front of the packaging? Cooking time which is why i tend to use fresh pasta as it cooks very very quickly and means I can know up a quick meal in about 10 mins including preparing sauce (e.g. pasta with ham, peas and double cream).
