Hi,just out of curiousity may i ask why there are no British meals on here.

Some of our favourites are

Shepherds Pie

Bangers n Mash

Beef Hot Pot

Toad In The Hole

Cheese N Onion Pie

Roast Beef & Yorkshires

Apologies if Annabel already does these meals in her ranges.

Agree with you Alexanders mummy, Livy fav meal is Chicken and Bacon Pie with tons of veg and gravy. I voted Spaghetti Carbonara but she'd eat most of the choices.

Default Favourite meals

One of my toddlers favourite meals is a simple vegetable & lentil soup which is so easy and quick to make. Just use some low salt vegetable stock (or make your own like Annabel suggestsin her books) and add celery, garlic, carrots, parsnips, leek and any other root veg you have handy such as sweet potato, butternut squash etc. Throw it all in a saucepan with some red split lentils and cook till all the veg are soft. (15-20 mins)

Puree with a hand blender. You can keep it quite thick for younger children or thin it down for older kids and adults. Adults may also like to add some seasoning to taste.

We serve it with bread cut up in squares to dip in and some cheese sticks or you can stir it through pasta and grate cheese on top (as long as you keep it thick) The soup freezes really well too and is great for using up vegetables that may otherwise go to waste.

If I was in a hurry my daughter would be happy with any of the AK ready meals, but I expect the pasta would be her favourite.
