Since starting my 2o week old son on solids last week he's not drinking nearly as much formula, he's gone from approx 1050ml per day to approx 750 or 800ml per day. I've been giving him 2 ice cube portions of veg etc for once a day (after his bottle). Does all this sound ok? I feel like he should be taking more formula but he just refuses. Because he sleeps for 12 hours I have to feed him every 3 hours a day to get the 5 bottles into him, maybe I should cut it to 4 bottles and hope he takes more? Some advice would really be appreciated.

Hi for peace of mind my little girl is the same, i'm feeding her five bottles a day although her second bottle (mid morning) i'm mashing a rusk up with her milk and giving her a bottle, then dinner time i'm giving her pureed carrot/parsnip/sweet pot or apple/pear etc only icecube size. she was drinking 6 ounce on every feed now lucky if shes having four ounce. shes still happy in herself and still sleeping through so i am not too worried.
