Hugs Hiann.

Had you had a good rest, good meal, got some fresh air/sunshine or something for the hours beforehand? Maybe something hormonal happened!?!?!?

I do wonder whether stress levels have an effect on breastmilk....

Whatever it is...result....unless it has got you totally confused and back to square one when you thought you knew where things were going!?!

Maybe I was stressed: over 100ml there now too...

I remember one night when Rhys was wee havong a bad day and saying I was going to pack in the breastfeeding and went and had a bath and the next day, wow wow wubsy! Mega quantities!!!

As for breastfeeding, I'll do it at home and in some places but I couldnt do it in a lot of public places. Also I like the fact that I can see what voulme she takes if I give her expressed milk.

Only thing is, as she's had more formula over the last few days and less breastmilk, her skin has got v bad and she's had one dirty nappy a day that has been v v bad: runny and leaking everywhere and up her front an dback. Funny feeling she might be lactose intolerance as the spots looked like what Rhys ahd when he was diagnosed as a baby and his started when I incresed his formula and decreased breastmilk...

Ta for hugs everyone!

Are they milk spots (spotty face). My LO had them and my friends LO too and they go away after a while. Didn't change formula. Milk spots usually end at nipple line of chest (my helpful hv told me). HTH, D x

My two had this. Looked terrible. Started when they were about 4-6 weeks and lasted a couple of weeks, then disappeared
