Tommee Tippee all the way - I got an Avent pump and bottle set thinking all bottles were the same (little did I know...) and was horrified when LO wouldn't even entertain the Avent teats... But she didn't even seem to notice that the Closer to Nature teats weren't me! A relief, but a little bit tragic, too...
I now express straight into Lansinoh bags (they stretch over the neck of the pump, you need to use two hands, one to pump and one to hold the bag on, but it's not like you can do much else when you're expressing anyway) and then stick in the fridge or freezer to be decanted into TT bottles when needed. Net time I'd buy a TT pump straight off, but beggars can't be choosers and all that x |

TT are working well: only issue is Cara is now taking up to 150ml of formula so I am in the 2nd size bottle! Even the wee bottles dont have much space from the 120ml mark to the top if you are using powdered milk: find the powder tends to come up to the top: although the wee ones are fine for expressed milk or premade formula! |

I went thru loads of different types with Lily and she finally settled with NUK. It is a german brand that comes in wide neck and normal.... I use the normal because you can use any bottle and just swap the teat but with the wide neck you have to use that bottle

We're still on the tommee tippee ones and so far so good although did find that the size 2 teats were getting blocked sometimes with the milk (Aptamil Comfort) as thicker than regular milk: now using the variflow ones and they are good.
Only downside of the TT ones is taht theres not very much room from the markings near the top to the the bottle top: we are making up 210ml of formula a time now as often Cara will drink 180ml and so its easier to get the last bit of the 180ml into her if theres still milk in the bottle rather than having bottle tipped up completely to empty it if that makes sense. So if you have 210ml of water in the bottle, it expands to abt 240ml when you add the powder. When you put the powder on top of the 210ml of wtaer it nearly reaaches the top of the bottle so if she ever needs more than 210ml of formula made up, I'll have to buy the next size of TT bottles to accomaodate the extra water and formula |
