Oh good I disagree with you again RM Her blog/backtrack appeared within hours of the interview being screened. She compared BM to coke!!!! She looked positively dumbfounded when asked where her evidence was - good old LK rescued her though. I'm sure she'll wean her way out of it and it will get brushed under the carpet as quickly as OFCOM deal with GMTV (and they'll probably get away with it) but she will be reminded about this one for a looong time to come

You missed my point.. i agree shes fecked up but it wont stop mums using her for bfing support/advice, people will still use her book.. when people are desperate they look to sucess storys rather than the bad stuff, people usually use tertiary advice (books etc) after all else has failed... as people we have a lovely way of self assuring and validating its what makes us all different
so im sure shes not panicking to much.

I wouldnt worry GMTV is not renowned for its accurate debates is it? i think the fact its sponsored by nestle helps

This? Again?

*Sigh*

Quite frankly I couldn't give two figs about what CBC did or didn't say on GMTV. I have no interest.

There are far more pressing issues in the world than what CBC did or didn't say. There are even far more important issues in life/the world than breastfeeding .

Who woulda thunk it?

She is on this website as an "expert". I thought it was quite relevant really. It's all over the internet and the newspapers. I thought you might be a teensy bit interested. I wonder if she thinks it's acceptable to give coke to newborns?

if thats the case then she certainly isn't someone I would ask for breastfeeding advice on that basis alone. technically I'm more of an expert than her.

I'm confused? What's the vase got to do with anything - did it make an inflammatory comment about the breastfeeding?

Nope, I couldn't care less to be frank.

Not of any interest to me whatsoever.
