The oxytocin in breastmilk acts as a relaxant and the night time feed *apparently* helps some mums go to sleep - not me though

- so there may be a reason for the waking. My son used to wake when I went to bed but this now rarely happens.
My youngest daughter was more than happy to go in her big girls bed in her big sisters room when the time came. I also have a friend who has 4 children (2 now teenagers) who also happilly made the transition in their own time - how many teenagers would be happy to share their beds with their parents?
My plan with my son (if we are ready for him to move out of bed before he is) is for me to sleep on a mattress on the floor next to his bed for a couple of nights and see how we go....although best made plans and things!!!
I honestly recommend Three in a Bed by Deborah Jackson - it's on Amazon
Three in a Bed: The Benefits of Sleeping with Your Baby: Amazon.co.uk: Deborah Jackson: Books or as I said, will probably be at the library - just for reassurance more than anything else.
