Am still exclusively BF at the moment but am really really hoping to get her to take a bottle soon or if not a bottle a cup as whilst i prob won't give up BF i would like a bit of a break. As she is 5 months already I don't think i am going to bother with expressing and will let her have a bit of formula. Given her digestion probs I have heard about this Heinz nurture gentle formula which is supposed to be a gentle formula suitable for babies with reflux/ colic etc.
Anyone heard of it or used it? Thanks Last edited by Anna07 : 02-12-09 at 13:39. |

Hello Anna!
If she has digestion problems then urm expressed breastmilk sounds best... ![]() I've never heard of the nurture stuff. Reckon Ellie will know a bit more. You'll get a break soon hon. Promise! You going back to work or something? Gx |

Hello,
I went back to work 2 days a week when my little girl was 4 1/2 months - managed to express fine in the morning before work, and in the changing room of the work gym, not very glamorous and ate into the lunchbreak but managable... A couple of times, due to tiredness I think (I totally get the needing a break thing. My husband is working abroad and I feel run ragged a lot of the time) I couldn't express anything in the morning to give to my mum for the day. I bought a couple of the cartons of ready made Aptamil and they went down really well. Didn't affect her nappies, or give her colic, and were convenient and hygenic. I've never used formula before so reckoned I'd probably mess it up if I got powder! Heard somewhere that Aptamil is closest to breastmilk, but don't know how or why? Good luck with it all. Hope ladybug's right and the breaks are on their way ![]() x |
