Question breastfeeding and periods??

I've not had a period since fraser was born which i know is normal when bf but how long to you not get them for as the last two days i've had some spotting, does that mean i am going to start my periods again?
fraser still feed 6 times a day

yeah you be on for a period, not all women infact a fair few get theirs back whilst bfing alot.xx

or you could be ovulating or preggers with some breakthrough bleeding. :-)

with Oliver I didn't have one til he was 18 months but with Seb it was 5 months!!!

My son is nearly 16 months and breastfeeding and still no sign of my period (it's not that I miss it but sometimes I wonder if everything is ok).

If you are worried you should ask your GP hon. Afaik, it's totally normal not to ovulate when bf. Having heavy periods can actually affect how much milk your body produces! My period only came back cause I got a coil. Try that LOL (don't!!! )

My period came back when Oliver was abut 6 months old even though at that age he was still bf'ing a lot. Everyone is so different though so it's hard to put a time on it. Does sound like it is about the come back though. x

totally gutted my periods have started again I said to hubby last week I felt really hormonal like I was due on but naively thought that because I'm still breastfeeding it wouldn't happen, got so used to not having them!!!
