I cant offer any advise but just to add i read the other day that if a baby is fully breast fed, which means not even introducing a dummy or solids at all, then you recieve greater protection against pregnancy than any other form of contraception, but only til 6 months

Sorry dont agree AT all with this! Load of tripe! (and I know you have a roll eyes at end of your post!) How do you know that you arent going to ovulate that month at all?! I'd like to think that the people that use this forum have enough wit to use alternative methods... Unless it is their intention or dont care if they get preg again.... |

Exactly! I'm the same! Anyway once this one arrives thats my baby making days over... Two kids is enough for me: dont think my hubby could handle me being preg again anyway! I'm "not a good advertisment for being pregnant" as someone in work said! I even am still vomitting occassionally: apart from yesterday which was a big vomit day as I had that feeling as soon as I got up//// |

It is called the lactational amenorrhea method of contraception. LLLI | The lactational amenorrhea method
It certainly isn't for everyone but pretty effective for those that use it to the letter.....at least up to 6 months (earlier if periods returns sooner.) The baby I night fed the longest let me get away with periods the longest.......16months :-) Last edited by fussymum : 16-01-10 at 15:11. |
