I consider myself to have breastfed for 1 year even though he had it all from a bottle. We just couldn't get the hang of the whole feeding from the boob thing (and there was a big emotional thing going on in my life which was making me sad/emotional aside from all the new baby/hormones stuff) so I expressed all his milk. Not the usual form of breast feeding but it was all breast milk so I consider him breast fed.

He was exclusively breast fed for 6.5 months (he refused all solids until then)then after that mix fed up to 1 year.

13 months with my oldest and my youngest is nearly 8 months and am still going at the mo. Both of my girls have refused bottles in any shape or form, even when I have sat up 'milking' as oldest calls it so I coul dhave a bottle handy! Two very determined young ladies here, what have we let ourselves in for?!

7 months with Matthew; I had reduced it to morning and evening feeds when I started solids and he got the rest in a beaker but he then stopped altogether as he preferred his beaker.

Still feeding Hannah at almost 4 months, she gets the occasional feed from a bottle to make sure she will take it if necessary but she prefers it from me. Seems to be going through a growth spurt at the moment as she's gone back to waking during the night at 3am I'd got used to her sleeping through.

I'm just too lazy to wash and sterilise bottles!
