Jess has either porridge with honey or cereals (rice krispies, cheerios or crunchy nut cornflakes) she has orange juice with it and a slice of toast.
On the weekends we sometimes have boiled egg and soldiers, sausage sandwiches or scrambled egg on toast. Sophie has porridge at the mo. |

what a blast from the past - I used to love eating that myself as a child!
Tilly's current favourite breakfast is "purple porridge" ! Is basically the AK instant porridge recipe (where you soak oats in milk in friedge overnight so all plumped up and easy to cook in microwave in the morning) then in the morning at the microwave stage I throw in a handful of frozen blueberries. They defrost in the porridge when it is heated up and some burst out their juice. When you stir it up it goes purple - fabulous! Her other favourite is toasted cinammon and raisin bagel. I put butter on it for her, but OH has confessed to putting smooth peanut butter on it for her which she loves. She has this with a glass of "special milk" which is large cup of warm milk with a small level teaspoon of drinking choc stirred into it. yum! |
