how many books?

i am begining to wonder if my LO has an obscene (sp) amount of books......have just done a quick count of his books downstairs and there are 60

i am really shocked.....had to double check as it doesnt look like that many and there are more upsatirs.....and i have more ready for Xmas!!!

Not surprisingly A LOT of them are tractor/farm books!!!

Some have been presents, some i have bought, (new and 2nd hand!).

So how many books does your LO have?

I would say jess has about the same, we have a big box in the front room and then she has a shelf full in her bedroom, you can never have enough books xxx

we cabinet divided into four squares the top two are all ebglish about 50 and the bottom are all welsh about 40 eek thats 90 books xxx

This is a little embarrassing........Ethan easily has at least 150 maybe even 200!

I need help LOL! I love buying books and have hundreds myself!

wow Ellie H and i thought Oli had a lot.......but then if i count the ones i have sent to Nannies House we are not that far behind you

i do agree tho you cant have enough books! i love them and just cant resist when i see one i like for him!!!

i do feel better that you all have LOTS so wont worry about buying him more and more!!

Rhys has more than I want to count... I buy them, my mum buys them and my MIL buys them.

When Ladybird did their 5 for £5 a year or two back, I went to the local shopping centre and bought 30 books... Some are still way too advanced fro Rhys but he'll grow into them!

We have lots of books too!!!!!! They're scattered all over the house so can't count but would guesstimate 80-100!! Agree with others, kids can't have too many books and I LOVE reading to my two.

Roald Dahl had a poem about throwing out TV and replacing it with well stocked book case. Anyone remember it?
One of my girl's favourites at moment is "The Enormous Crocodile" ~Roald Dahl.
