Abbie posting as Ladybug:
My SIL has this book and I was flicking through it. It is a great book for anyone not used to cooking or not confident. There were some nice easy recipes to make pies, chilli etc and SIL has just moved out of home and hasn't ever cooked before. I have never tried Tana's books. If you're not sure get them both from the library and see which you prefer before splashing out. |

I have Jamie's Ministry of Food and it's fab! Everything is reasonably easy to make and doesn't have to cost the earth. Mr H made his chilli recipe last week and it was yummy.
I haven't got Tana Ramsay's new one but liked ther last one. xxxxxxxxx |

I've got Jamies new book and love it. His other books have lovely recipes but just too complicated for everyday eating. I'm not the best cook in the world and lack knowledge in basic recipes like making a pie or a roast chicken so I love this book.
Had the baked camembert pasta yesterday and it was lovely. Was quite quick and easy also-I managed to make it whilst looking after my 2 on my own! |
