Default Parenting Books

I'm not a big reader of these sorts of things but a few questions and worries led me to buy " New Toddler Taming by Christopher Green". I did do some research and this seemed the best suited to my "style" of parenting. I mainly wanted to get some advice on discipline for toddlers as sometimes I wonder am I doing the right thing?

Anyway, I really recoommend it, it is funny (honestly, I have been laughing out loud to some of the bits), and has a real common sense approach and I do believe that it does help reinforce that I am doing the right things (most of the time). Also it is quite enjoyable to read.

Anyone else read this or other parenting books they think are good? Maybe we can recommend them to each other.

Imo's Mummy sent me Toddler Taming and it is ace. I love his approach to parenting. Tis not judgement and is full of wry observations that make you giggle. When Isabella does certain things now instead of getting stressed it reminds me of the example in the book and this makes me cope better iyswim.

I've got the Toddler Taming book too. Not read it all yet but what I have makes total sense! I've also go a book called 'The Best Friend's Guide to Toddlers' which, what I have read of it, makes great sense too.

xxxxxxxx
